First rally of the 2016 season! High Desert Trails in Ridgecrest California. Our car held up great despite being beat up by the trails (and our driver!). Even though we initially suffered a snapped tie rod end, one of the other competitors graciously welded it for us which enabled us to continue on with the race. We finished the first set of stages titled “Chapparal” and went on to place third in our class in the next set titled “Mojave”.
We as a team are very proud of our driver, Brian Tullio, and our co-driver for the race, Nick Roder.
It goes to show what can be accomplished with some forethought, skill, team work, a helping hand, and a little luck!
