Frazier Mountain Rally – 2016

Another finish under our belts!

It was a beautiful day for a rally in picturesque Frazier Mountain. The day started off well with competitive times even with the car pulling into service with a wildly flat tire to the sound of applause from our fellow competitors (see the pics in our Frazier Mountain Rally media page). After a busy service, we were out on the next two stages, which turned out to be a harrowing experience. A snapped tie rod. The rally ended with a group waiting with baited breath at the finish line with periodic updates over the organizer’s radio on car #258’s progress. It was a welcome sight to see them pulling in, even with a completely snapped tie rod. And there were cheers and flashes from cell phone cameras as they pulled across the line with only 12 seconds to spare! We might have placed dead last but we finished the race and gained our points.

Check out our media page for photos of that wild flat, the picturesque views from our pits, and a few tweets about our progress from the event organizers’ Twitter feed!
