The 2016 Gorman Rally is in the bag. But not without a little bit of This Side Up excitement!
Everything was going great until it wasn’t. Long story, short: We rolled the car on stage 4 (Driver and co-driver were both OK), but luckily landed “This Side Up”. After a quick tug off the berm, we resumed racing and finished the stage. While in service, we were given the OK to continue the rally.
In true This Side Up fashion, we finished the day with a 4th place finish for the first half, and a 3rd place finish for the second.
In an interesting twist, our nearest competitor broke a main suspension beam early in the day and had to take a DNF for the rally.
This means were are still 1st in the points for our class and it will all come down to Prescott!
